Chairperson

I am the Chairperson of the Governing Body and I am responsible for Humanities and Expressive Arts. I am a retired primary school headteacher, with experience of teaching all ages groups, but my specialty is Early Years Education. I taught in a number of schools in this country as well as spending two years teaching in Finland.

Parent Governor & Vice-Chair Ysgol Licswm

I am a Parent Governor and Vice-Chair from Ysgol Licswm. I spent 10 years as a primary school teacher in England and I now work for HM Land Registry. I am passionate about supporting our two schools in any way that I can. I am the link governor for RSE and Language, Literacy and Communication.

Foundation Governor

I am a Foundation Governor with a special interest in Welsh education. I attend meetings with the staff and children at Ysgol Licswm. I am also on the Finance Committee and my area of learning experience is Welsh. I am also the Health and Safety Governor. I have been a governor for several years and will continue to support the federation as long as I am able.

I am the class Teacher for years 3 to 6 at Ysgol Licswm. I have responsibility for Religion, Values and Ethics.

Parent Governor Ysgol Yr Esgob

I am Kate Davies and I am Efan's Mum year 4 (also Ffions mum, Ffi went thorough Ysgol Yr Esgob and is now Year 8 High School). I was elected as a Parent Governor this school year and I feel I am settling into the role well. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you feel I can provide support in anyway.

I am a Foundation Governor (previously a Parent Governor) and I am the Link Safeguarding Governor across the Bryniau Federation.

As a governor I have special responsibility for maths and numeracy at the school, as before I was a priest I used to work as a software engineer.

I also spend a lot of time engaged in discussion about RVE and the wellbeing of pupils and staff.

Caerwys ward County Councillor that includes Licswm area. I can assist both schools by supporting relevant issues within FCC concerning school matters.
